"Listen To Your Inner Voice"

If only I had listened to that inner voice
So Long ago, when I had the choice
To Stay or Leave,
I chose to Stay
The choice seemed like the right one,
But now I know I should have left.
When you don't listen to that inner voice,
You practice no choice.
I was a fool to think you would change,
I kept trying to re-arrange
my thoughts and beliefs to fit yours,
It became too much to endure.
So now I listen to that inner voice,
and Practice, CHOICE!

WOW! I've been HERE and DONE that, seriously, for 19 yrs. to an Alcoholic, who lost his license 2X.s and I woke our 2 beautiful daughters up every morng. to get HIM to work, then them to school and me at work...
I hated what HE put us through, and he blamed ME, Yea, right, It was his problem and he was sinking, and I was THERE Role Model, and I wanted THEM happy and myself, and I listened to my inner voice *(tthe 2nd time, we re-married 2X.s - yes, same man- I felt him changing, but not enough and didn't stick) I had enough of it and him, and WE are very happy! The man I met was from Match.com and He was only 10 min t's from ME, FATE or what.. WE have been together almost 6 yrs. in Novemb. 07- and he has 3 growing kids, (Boy)18teen in Novemb. 14 and 13yrs.. Girls... I moved on and grew even more, and stronger in mind and spirit! Always! Listen to your BEAUTiful Strong Inner Voice, God is always a thought away... WE must help ourselves, too...
