"Fleeting Footsteps"

Tranquil thoughts are heard,
saddened by the days unfolded.
Life shattered, life healing,

Never a path left unturned,
always footsteps fleeting quickly,
toward the answers that we seek.

Along the path, one falters,
reeking havoc in another's way,
Knowing full well, it was not meant to be.

We walk along this path,
with our head held high,
seeing the forest for the trees.

For knowledge is power,
Wisdom is essential,
and footsteps continue to flee.

Never a weary heart to be,
always an open heart for thee,
and the footsteps continue to flee!
