Where has time gone?
Just yesterday I was in puberty,
now the menopause is settling in.
The funny thing is that I feel the same!
Excited about life,
sensually stimulated,
thirsty for knowledge,
living life with carefree abandon, still wondering
what I am going to do when I grow up!
I have come to a stage in my life,
where life is traveling at such a speed
that I am going to live it as fully as can be!
I shall not look back,
I shall walk on all of those stepping stones;
that will bring me to the end of this journey.
I shall touch other's lives with my words,
Kiss my children, and their children,
and be the peace, love and light that I desire.
Author's Notes: Yes time is flying by, I shall not stop to get off, I will go with the speed of life, and enjoy every blessed minute. Here's to Puberty and Menopause and all that comes in between and after!!!!!
Beautifully written, Amber...if only we could stop at any point along the way or rewind just as easily through the power of our minds. I shall have to settle for poetic eyes that float in the mist of life in order to see it that way.

This one nailed the concept of only as old as one feels so dramatically, we can be the child, adult or parent and still have the ability to embrace life totally with all our being. Well said Amber.
