"Meet Me Under The Willow Tree"

by Amber Moonstone 6/30/07

Meet me under the Willow Tree
where the birds sing harmony.
Tender children of the night
craving joy in place of fright.

Solitude is there to be
gentle waves of energy.
Soothing minds and calming fears
erasing all the childhood tears.

Meet me under the Willow Tree
Where the pain can only flee.
Tender children of the night
bringing joy in place of fright.

Read a poem or a book
getting caught in it's hook
finding innocence under the tree
if only a few moments to be free.

Solitude is what you need
Positive energy to feed
your mind and body out of pain
to cleanse it through tears of rain.

Meet me under the Willow Tree
where the birds sing harmony.
Tender children of the night
replacing joy from all your fright!

Author's Notes: Another poem in a series about child abuse/domestic violence.. Pray for the children that are suffering within their own homes..They will survive, but how healthy are they?

Vivianna,
I Feel you Poetry, It is so sad how I can just instantly feel this grief from a lifetime ago. The burden of fears & betrayals leave horrible scars that define.

Your Book Will Help Many, as I hope to reach many with mine too.

Amber,
Thank you for bringing me here today. Your love rings true in these words. Had some of us had a willow tree, perhaps the journey would have been laced with some peace. I love your heart and your spirit because of your gift with pen. My very best wishes to you.

The golden light shone in my heart from YOU!
I rested much, couldn't sleep but, after I chat
I feel a little more at ease!
Picturing us talking, laughing and smiling under the BiG Willow tree, drooping branches, my favorite!

Amber, I'm impressed with the poems you write...they call attention to the world of childrens abuse. You pen each one with such inspiration and sincerity. I love the way you write...it touches me so.
