Tender is the night,
Longing is her delight.
For his love left her sated
each time that they mated.

Tender is the night,
Satisfaction is her delight,
For his love left her craving
for remnants worth saving.

Tender is the night,
When both took flight,
for their love was intense,
leaving each with no defense.

Tender is the night,
reveling in each other's light,
consuming each desire
burning embers of fire.

Tender is the night,
when only love is in sight,
granting lovers arduous favors,
bringing flowers that each savors.
