Sometimes we don't see the forest for the trees!

"I See You Clearly" by Amber Moonstone 7/20/07 Volcanoes erupting like passion Emotions flowing like lava You are a wolf in sheep's clothing making me want you and then running off. Volcanoes erupting like impatience Emotions flowing out of control You urge me on toward your secrets and then you leave me out in the cold. Volcanoes erupting like a painful tear, Emotions flowing, but you do not hear, You tease me with your promise, then you leave for selfish fulfillment. Volcanoes erupting like passion, Emotions flowing like lava, You will not harm me any longer I am looking right through you! author's notes: Just a rude awakening, some people can be very oblivious as to how their behavior affects other people!

Amber, this poem is an illustration of how sometimes we can be deceived and not realize just how self-centered a person can be until we get to know the real person. This is an excellent write & I'm sure many readers will relate to this. Thanks for sharing!
