Shadows dancing on the walls
Temptation of desire calls
Absence makes the mind wander
Temptation becomes fonder
Into the abyss of loneliness
losing all consciousness
Acting upon a tempting thought
rebellion from which you were taught
Overwhelming desires to be quenched
showers of kisses drenched
satisfaction of lustful desire
yearnings to stoke your burning fire.
Driven to madness beyond belief
wanting only lover's relief
Knowing consequences can be fatal
dropping you into Dante's cradle.
How can you resist temptation
when it has been an adoration
all those shadows forming doom
while standing lonely in your room.

Entwined in the wild winds
Of a tempest blowing
Tantalizing me with visions
Of satisfaction, upon an absence
Of the one my heart craves.
Like the wailing of a siren
Tempting the lost seamen at sea
Shadows no longer dance
On the walls for me.
My desires are only for her
Who is so far away
My needs.
Only her, can ever please.
Though my loneliness
Torments my soul
The vows, I’ve taken
I’ll take with me to my grave.
The banshee’s cry
Of seductive dreams
Burn through my mind
As the sunrise
Eliminates tempting shadows
Seducing mine on the wall.
