THOUGHTS ABOUT HUMANITY author: Anonymous Have compassion for peoples’ diversity Knowing that “differences” are not unique But, rather, opportunities to learn from one another Understanding that peace is more than an idea Initiates thought that becomes the catalyst Necessary to change an idea to reality Monitor your own heartbeat to measure its true sincerity Never offering to give life’s blood to another Until yours is free of resentment and hatred Answer those queries which give the greatest reward to mankind Demanding nothing of others you can not give yourself Giving to others all that is yours to give Nurturing is a quality necessary to the human spirit Never hidden to be kept selfishly, but, ready to respond When humanity suffers from great devastation Instigate and motivate changes when they improve man’s condition Extended inaction leaves men paralyzed with cranial atrophy Apathetic and vulnerable with no resistance against injustice Tolerance is born through experiencing and accepting our own shortcomings Stimulating thought to thereby accept the faults of others And apply liberal amounts of forgiveness whenever needed Yearn for a world of peace amongst nations and mankind Seeking always the road that leads to the solution Rather than the road that leads around the problem Author’s note: See humanity through eyes of faith and hope- Hope being the torch that lights your way

Wishing for worldwide peace. But don't know when it will be achieved. Your poem tell it all and makes us think Would we like to be more peaceful, I hope so.

Love the entire poem and its wonderful sentiments, Amber. And the lines that stand out for me:

This Is To Me The Divine Knowledge of Selflessness
in an Earthly world realm of possessiveness & greed & temptations
The Spiritual Realm Is A Complete Energy of Being & Giving of Divinity & Selfless Love
Thats what this piece reminds me of, many people do not get that Love is freedom & does not harm or hurt, nor control.
