Sometimes, I feel the happiest when I do the same things that I had done in my childhood. Simple things like running in the sand, walking in the ocean water, or simply playing in the sand. These childhood memories really are uplifting, and I think you have captured the beauty of simplicity in your poem.

Yes, I'd love to be walking barefoot along the ocean or even with sandals on the sands near the ocean. That is my thing and this write makes me long for the ocean. I am 3 hours away from the ocean, and don't get there as often as I can but have a photo of a lne girl with her dog along the ocean waves as my desktop photo. Love it.
