"The Color Of the Mist"

by Amber "V" Moonstone   8/4/08

The color of the mist,
that lingers on the bog,
sending fragrant tendrils
of desirous love.

Two lovers run in heated bliss,
longing to touch and taste,
into the meadow
of green mist.

Laying among the tallest pines,
tenderly breathing
in each moment's  scent,
suspending all inklings of time.

There is no one but each other,
taking and giving,
till pleasure is sated,
under the cover of nature's umbrella.

Eyes are watching,
learning, loving,
hands are feeling,
softly then urgently.

Touches that burn with desire,
kisses that send nectar flowing,
Embers of uncontrollable lust,
sending messages that they must.

Out of heated animal need,
a fear of completion filters in,
knowing that there is no turning back,
once you go to that place of oneness.

Youthful freedom,
uncontrollable desires
takes these lovers
to places unknown.

Passions burning
with desirous fire,
as the volcano of love

begins to burst with

The color of the mist,
that lingers on the bog,
sending fragrant tendrils
of sated love.

author's notes:  Do you remember the first time you made love?  To be so free and young again...mmmmmmmmm

Much peace, love, and light,

Amber "V" Moonstone

An excellant write and I loved the last question you phrased. Yes, I do remember the first time I made love but like a lot of teenagers it was rushed, frightening and even kind of stressful as we worried about getting caught or getting her pregnant...but...I remember more and with a sweeter longing the first time I made love outside under a blanket of summer stars...ahhh like the mist it was beautiful memory savored in time.

The setting and feelings are romantic, the actions erotic, and you blend them subtly till all is one. Fine writing, Amber.

Exactly what I so long to wake up too each time we go camping and all the sounds of nature to compliment it all. Young, in love and just letting nature run its course, simply wonderful...

Be always safe,
Karen

Let's see, Amber, I think it was in '85 or '88. But, who's counting?

That is a glorious picture and reading your poem one can just imagine two lovers in that beautiful place, sharing, touching and tasting in a rhythmical dance of heated bodies in a suspended moment of ecstasy. Nice pen.

You just took me for a solitary walk smelling wet trees and grateful grass with their murmur as the breeze caresses them.
Thanks

Well, good morning to you, too.
Beautiful place to start my day.
Reminds me of my "Always One".
But you do it so much better.
Really enjoyed.

actually I PAID dearly for the first time... so I'm not a believer in uncontrollable anything. But then it was the 'summer of "free" love' and I was stupid. But I love this particular color of YOUR mist and you are quite a poet. While you're doing teal I'm on "black rain" this morning!
Later and 'Love' to you, michael
