The Silence Ended

(Sequel to The Silence)

(She Writes)

"Alone within the confines of my silence,
I look at your sad face,
You try to console me,
I cannot hear you, but I see your love."

"Before I leave you,
I shall make sure you know
how much you mean to me.
I shall leave you an imprint of my soul."

"Your constant trust and love,
is all that has comforted me
during my final days of life.
You are without a doubt my one true love."

"I look at you, and I see,
a man of honor,
a remarkable father,
a  caring human being,
but most of all my loving husband."

"My hands shake uncontrollably,
while I write this love sonnet.
I must tell you of my love,
before it is too late.
I need you to know."

"Dearest Husband,
I write this with a heavy heart,
but one filled with much love,
I shall be leaving this earth
sooner than we expected.
Know that I have loved you
more than life itself. 
Know that you have been
the best husband, father and lover.
Know that you did your best,
and know that I appreciate
You!"

As she wrote the last word,
she closed her eyes,
and a smile was found upon her face.
Peace and contentment
entered her soul and
The Silence ended.
