Pure Joy

Laughter and joy resonated
my spirit sisters gathered for the evening.
We shared a meal overlooking the ocean.
I had a Mike's Lemonade, not really a drinker.

It was time to do our tarot readings
so we saundered slowly inside.
The kitchen was a soothing place,
filled with candles and light airy breezes.

Some mystical music was playing
As my hands shuffled the tarot deck.
Quite a reading took place
and the message was very clearly stated.

I am about to get what I have been waiting for,
peace, love and prosperity.
Yeah, well now it's time to manifest once again.
I walked out onto the shore,
feeling the evening ocean breeze take my breath away.

There is something about that breeze,
when the moon is shining on the ocean
and the ticking of midnight is approaching.
It is a magical moment indeed.

I closed my eyes, thinking of those cards,
I sent my desires out into the Universe,
with confidence that I will be heard.
Finally, I was very clear as to what I wanted.

Somehow, deep within, I felt a shift happen,
it was a small tingle, that felt like a warm touch
was it my healing angel?
I felt so safe and warm.

I embraced this feeling for a few moments,
then stretched my arms out into the Universe,
and proclaimed, "This is the dawn of a new life"
I was content to sit on that shore for a few more moments.

I gathered all these moments,
stored them in my sacred memory banks,
and knew I would call upon them one day;
to recapture this feeling of pure joy!
