Like a beautiful pas-de-deux of true hearts, Amber; this has the emotional frisson and glamour of the Great Romances of the thirties and forties, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers tripping the light fantastic. Also puts me in mind of a touch of conjuring magic, too, with the visual and the dramatic pause and flourish. Mesmeric in its effects. Red rose and black silk are made for each other. Nicely poised and paced. Elegance finely wrought. xx
