A Time For A Challenge

by Amber "V" Moonstone
4/24/11

Buffering the darkness
unveiling the light,
challenges so often aloof,
when time flees by.

Bodies change,
minds becomes foggy,
intuition seems elusive,
but love can still prevail.

When bogged into the depths
of darkness, and floundering
in the pool of aches and pain,
one must seek the light.

A challenge that only you
can step up to.
Frisk your soul,
free your mind.

Conquer the challenge
of time that steadily marches on,
leaving only minute seconds to breath in
the healing energies of the Universe.

As each day becomes shorter,
and each moment becomes
elusive and trying,
breathing and focusing is the challenge.

One must always remember
to smell the roses,
catch the waves,
and walk into the lightness of being.

I challenge you, today,
to think positive,
to live in lightness,
and to accept each moment for what it is!

LIFE IN ITSELF IS A CHALLENGE, BUT ONE MUST STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND THOUGH WE OFTEN WON'T HIT HOME RUNS, WE DO RESPOND TO THE CHALLENGE OF HITTING THE BALL. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED, THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

I didn't read Jude's poem but you hit a great truth on the head. Sometimes with passage of time and isolation we just seem to fall back into negative thinking, feeling and writing:
"Bodies change,
minds becomes foggy,
intuition seems elusive,
but love can still prevail."
couldn't be said better... and like you point out, we have to chase the blues away and come back into the Light of Love and Understanding...
Later, michael
