The Temperamental Heart
by Amber "V" Moonstone

5/28/11

Heart breathes of fire
brewing in a cauldron
passion held tight
bursting at the seams.

Quivers of sacred vows
float just at the surface
of untold dreams
wishing to be born.

Heart tempers the passion,
sealing the fate
of lost souls,
that must come together.

The cauldron will boil over,
if left unwatched,
simmering to a steady boil
filling to the brim of expectations.

Wishes sent out into the Universe,
like magical spells seeping from the cauldron,
catching moonbeams
while sending messages of urgency.

The Heart is a lonely hunter,
while seeking it's mate,
Temperamental fuel
flows throughout the chambers.

Losing sleep
while seeking truth,
simmers the pot,
rendering the heart temperamental.

Your metaphor is very effective, Amber. The state that you describe here is just perfect for the way I feel right now. TY.

'...A WATCHED POT, NEVER BOILS...' IN THIS CASE, THIS IS A VERY GOOD THING. ESPECIALLY, WHEN ONE'S HEART IS BEING TEMPERED, WHILE SEEKING...TRUTH. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS EXCELLENT WORK. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

This one felt eerie to me, Amber...a sense of forboding about the future. Nicely done. Love and hugs,

There is an animalistic quality to the wanting in this, Amber, like a wolf howling for his mate in a far away meadow. Lots of movement and vibration here combined with a sense of intense longing. Excellent visual images.
Take care,
Sherry

an unpredictable heart in indeed a moody creature controlled by strangely enough, the temper of its mental state ... as always, your imagery is effervescent as well as a universal vibration to pulsate upon ...

Always in tune with universal vibration, Amber,
but at the same time aware of human weakness, anxiety
and need...your perspective is sharp and meaningful.

Indeed, whilst searching for a mate who is on the same level can take a long ole time, as with the search for truth, only truth is found within.

.... oooo yes, Amber! Definitely a jungle pulse to this one and the primeval drumming of that tempestuous heart sends out almost a ritualised message. A mighty love-potion in that cauldron, I'll be bound, conjuring a sense of hot and heavy, racy and pacy. Loin cloths will soon be jettisoned, I reckon...!! :)) xx

It's a hit and miss situation at best, but when the heart is temperamental (and whose isn't?) the odds of hearing and believing those magical words, "I love you," are rendered almost nil and void. Urgency is like gasoline poured onto a burning car.

Then again, what have you got to lose. If you don't give it all yo have to give the result will be much the same.

Enjoyed this temperamental piece, Amber.
