Redeemed
by Amber "V" Moonstone

The waves lick the shore,
as if desperate to touch solid ground.
Sounds of seagulls screech,
knowing fall is approaching.
The lightning strikes,
thunder booms,
another summer storm
ascending onto the tranquil shoreline.
Waves pound the shore,
desperately seeking solid ground,
The seagulls have found refuge
somewhere south of here.
Torrential rain pours down,
cleansing the humid air,
filling the waves with hope
of misty clarity.
Clouded mind
seeks waves of calming energy,
flowing like the desperate waves,
I stand on the solid ground.
Angels whisper in my ear,
Sleep my child, sleep,
when you awake you will be
Redeemed!

... words and sentiment as beautiful and soothing as the salvation of redeeming, refreshing sleep itself, Amber. Love this notion of the waves seeking solid ground... May it also be higher ground from which the views and atmosphere are all goooooooooood! xx
Indeed, dear Amber, love it when you write. -gene.
