Into the Light Of The Sun

They said it was to rain,
all weekend long,
however, the sun came through
those darkened lonely clouds.
Sunshine lifts me up,
it gives me reason to breath,
Continues to fill my soul
and sends me on my way.
When the darkness starts to enfold,
the night can be very long,
when the morning sun creeps into my room,
this darkness goes away.
Remember to look toward lightness,
give darkness not a reason to stay,
Walk among the enlightened few,
and step into the light of the sun.
