~Heat~

The heat builds,
temperatures are rising,
thoughts are on fire,
as the sun blazes downward.

Glistening bodies,
gasping for air,
temperatures rise,
the sun blazes on.

Relief in sight,
cool southern breezes,
breaking the threshold,
the sun finally sets.

Wine and cool air,
calms the nerves,
the night is relief
the moon shines down.

Mental exhaustion,
physical relaxation,
stimulating conversation,
Moonbeams bath.

Naked beneath the moon,
coolness surrounding each pore,
awaiting the heat,
