Wonder Of The Moon
By Amber "V" Moonstone

Melting moonbeams upon my feet,
penetrating energy flowing deeply
moondrops falling upon my face,
taking me away to the Wonder of the Moon.
How can such an orb,
be so powerful and serene,
blending wonder and clarity
just, at the very sight of it.
Always an enigma,
the power that the moon can emit,
one moonbeam, one drop,
Is all it takes to spin my world.
Flying through thoughts of wonder,
mind blowing experiences,
can catapult me into the cosmos,
for a wild moonlit ride, deeply within the milky way.
Melting moonbeams upon my feet,
penetrating energy flowing deeply,
moondrops falling upon my face,
taking me away to the Wonder of The Moon!

All us poets try to capture the moon.
But how easily...it captures us.
I love the surprise when I'm so early on my way to work and suddenly I'm headed right for a full moon.
Or I think someone is shining a light in our window...and again- the moon is just there.
Wonderful poem!
