Getting Lost In This Dream

It was a restless evening
Drifting off to sleep I felt alone,
Falling deeply within my dreamscape,
You were there calling out my name.
"Find me, my lovely,
Come to me, sit at my altar,
Let me bathe you in golden moondrops,
while I make sweet love to you."
I was transported to another time,
there was a darkened forest,
with a light that guided my journey,
I could smell the dampness of the earth.
I walked without fear,
steadfast toward that soft voice,
worthy of this arduous journey,
Nothing could stop me.
As I approached the silky yellow light,
I saw you, standing with outstretched arms,
smiling as if you knew me all my life,
I was in awe of the splendor of your beauty.
Walking slowly toward each other,
You were reciting something over and over,
"We know what we are,
but know not what we may be."
I was compelled to stop and listen,
To hear what you were saying,
It was so easy,
To get lost in this dream.

each night concentrate on the subject at hand. It will take
a few days. Dreams are magical and some feel quite real.
Enjoyed, Amber.
Always,
Deborah

Ah dreams. they can take us to the most beautiful places or places we don't want to go. This one seems to be a beautiful place, if only it were real.

life...only when we are brave enough to explore
the dream...showing the way...guiding our feet and
move around the corner...chances are...we find
the ray of light...to melt the loneliness...to feel at
peace...again...
As your poem/photo pointed out ...only from
darkness that we are aware of the light...
Thank you Amber, for sharing your words
that spark a light in your reader's eyes...to
marvel...illuminate the world...
