The Shore Is Empty

by Amber "V" Moonstone

 Weary heart and soul,
Missing you once more.
Where has time gone,
the days slip by.

No one has the power,
that you have over my heart,
it beats in tripping motion,
just waiting for your touch.

We were so in tune,
beat after beat full measures.
Then you disappeared into the abyss,
leaving me wondering why?

Golden kisses and warming embraces,
deem a distant memory.
The shore is empty,
and I stand waiting for you once more.

Ah, what a sad, sorrowful write, Amber. It pained me to read it. Dwelling on the past is not worth a minute of your time. You still have a future to live and out there is the "one" for you and no more will he "disappeared into the abyss" . . .
