The tears were sparkling in your eyes; Your hearts were filled with love; At your first look into her face; God’s blessing from above. Her big brown eyes looked back at you; Her small hand held you tight; Three hearts were melting into one; Oh, what a precious sight! Through the years, you’ll watch her grow; With wonder, joy and love; And heartfelt thanks to God alone For this gift that you’ve dreamed of.
