Along life’s journey are a few deadly trails, Walk with me along the most dangerous two; Stay close, don’t stray off, ask some questions, Obey all the rules and we will get through.
One of the deadliest trails we may walk, Is the one that I deemed Pride and Ego; Pride is a very capricious thing, It deserts us when we’re feeling low.
Ego is one of the shameful forces, Too much of it leaves us without a friend; We’ll walk on the trail alone and afraid, With no one to comfort us at the end.
Another deadly trail on life‘s map, Is a sad one I have named Hopeless; Those who travel this path are short on faith, And their journey is forever endless.
This most fearful trail will bring such torment, No tangible words could describe it all; Eternal damnation and pain transpires, For all who refuse to accept His call.
These two trails lead to horrible fates, So my friends, avoid them at all cost; If tempted by them, choose another path, On a righteous one, our souls won’t be lost.
Please hear this warning before it’s too late, Take the right trail and pick up the slack; Have faith and trust, never harden your hearts, Once at your trail’s end, there’s no turning back.
