Miracles really do happen,
And they can take on any form;
But there’s one that has no equal,
It’s that of a child being born.

From the first day of conception,
A fresh new trail has begun;
When life inside begins to stir,
It’s the first sign of what’s to come.

Like a seed planted in the earth,
It gathers its strength from within;
Remarkably, it starts to take form,
And prepares for its life to begin.

As the special day grows nearer,
New expectations have begun;
Mother has plans for her daughter,
While Dad has thought of his new son.

When the magical moment arrives,
The whole family joins in to pray;
“Dear Lord, we thank You for this gift,
We’ll cherish it by night and by day.”

Then suddenly the baby is there,
And as it takes its very first breath;
It knows at once who its parents are,
It seems like they have already met.

God has brought forth this new miracle,
Now it’s up to us to show it the way;
Whatever trail this child will walk on,
It will look for our guidance each day.

Its destiny is not pre-ordained,
Its whole future now rest in our hands;
Have faith and hope, keep the Bible near,
And this child will fit into God's plans.

To keep this miracle a blessed one,
We cannot let the devil get too near;
Every child is dependant on us,
To help keep it from a life full of fear.

Yes, miracles really do happen,
Sometimes the outcome depends on us;
Faith, Hope and Love make it easier,
As well as giving God all our trust.
