A slightly different version of 2007s TALE OF A STORM.
The wind came screaming thru the trees,
As the storm, it came a calling;
The creatures within the forest,
All heeded its deadly warning.
Raindrops felt more like needles,
Painful to all the ones they hit;
Thunder crashed like a great avalanche,
The darkened sky by lightning was lit.
The bears hid safely in their dens,
Didn't seek out berries that day;
The buck and his doe protected,
Their fawn huddled down in the hay.
Birds of all kinds clung to branches,
The gale so strong they couldn't fly;
Far away the sound of the wolves,
Could be heard howling at the sky.
Young trees were bent down in the wind,
The oldest ones snapped, crashing down;
The weakest ones of all were ripped,
By their roots right out of the ground.
The most feared beast in the mountains,
Even it was frightened that day;
The great North American cougar,
Was just another of nature’s prey.
Miles of beaches were washed away,
Great sand dunes so quickly leveled;
When the wrath of God’s great storm hit,
Even the land began to tremble.
No tree, no building, nor the earth,
Not a single living creature,
Not a thing was safe from its rage,
From the power within the Nor’easter.
This book consists of a 150 pages of Christian poetry about the end of time and the Second coming of Jesus Christ not as a servant but as a King, the King of kings. To bring righteousness and peace to the earth and restore the government of God! Peac
