Life is much too short to complain,
You’re only here for a short while;
When hardships start to wear you down,
Don’t forget you’ve reasons to smile.

On the side of that steep mountain,
Or afloat on the roiling sea;
Our Lord will firmly hold your hand,
By your faith He will walk with thee.

Amid the dark of a cold night,
God’s light keeps shining on brightly;
Eternal bliss is His promise,
So take all your problems lightly.

Abundant beauty surrounds you,
A sky colored the purest blue;
The landscape filled with hues of green,
He placed them all here just for you.

There’s no time for doubt or remorse,
God gave you blessings by the score;
Take the time to look all around,
And you shall never want for more.

For all that you see before you,
Countless blessings spread with God’s love;
Know that there’s much more that awaits,
When you claim your rewards above.

My friends, just take one breath at a time,
And thank God for all that He gave you;
Have trust in God’s eternal wisdom,
Welcome Jesus and He will save you.
