I took the mountain trail to find,
The wonders of spring had arrived;
Wildlife frolicked everywhere;
The forest was very much alive.

New life blooming along the way,
Birds are singing high in a tree;
God gives us blessings far and wide,
Walk on His trails and you will see.

All the deer, turkey, bear and moose,
The birds soaring high in the air;
Once again His wonders astound,
As for summer they all prepare.

The night air is growing milder,
So comfortable are the days;
Spring is the perfect combination,
Tells the story of life every way.

From the birth of a newborn bear cub,
To the tiny leaves on the trees;
It’s all of this and so much more,
The countless reasons why I believe.
