Each day there are lessons in life,
Open our hearts so we can see;
The love that God has for us all,
As it was always meant to be.
The trail we're on may seem too steep,
But the peak is within our sight;
If we'll take one step at a time,
We’ll reach The Everlasting Light.
Why don't we all walk together,
Hand in hand on our toughest trails;
We’ll learn life’s lessons together,
Share with each other our wondrous tales.
No matter what the future may bring,
God’s love cannot be taken away;
The gift the Son gave to us all,
Is ours forever and a day.
As long as we will remember,
To trust in God and keep the faith;
Open wide the door to our hearts,
Invite Him in, it’s not too late.
And cherish the blessings we have,
Take them with us along our trail;
Each one of them God has given,
To prove His love can never fail.
His wonders are all around us,
From small brooks that struggle to flow;
To eagles soaring in the sky,
And trees that seek the sun's warm glow.
Just as the rain makes the grass green,
The love that God gives can restore;
Our souls are in need of healing,
He’ll make them the way they were before.
The darkest clouds will soon melt away,
The stars will once again start to shine;
The moon will rise over the mountain,
Telling us of the glory we‘ll find.
