“You shall make the tabernacle,
With ten curtains of fine linen;
Made of blue, purple and scarlet,
You shall make them with cherubim.
“Their length shall be twenty eight cubits,
The width of each one, just four cubits;
Make sure that all of the curtains,
Shall be of the same measurements.
“Five curtains shall be joined together,
And the other five shall be joined too; Make blue loops on the outermost curtain,
And likewise on the second set too.
“Make fifty loops in the one curtain,
And do the same on the second set; Join them with fifty clasps of gold,
The tabernacle will be a unit.
“Then you shall make curtains of goat’s hair, For a tent over the tabernacle;
Thirty cubits by four cubits,
Make eleven curtains in all.
“Then join the five curtains together,
The other six the same way too;
Double the sixth one at the front,
For the main entrance it will do.“
God also gave them instructions,
For special curtains to separate;
As how they should place them inside,
To separate the Most Holy Place.
When done, they placed the Ark’s cover,
Atop the Ark of the Covenant; Inside this, the Most Holy Place, The place for one's own atonement.
