Seems like it'll never stop raining.
It’s a stormy day on the lake, The wind's blowing to beat the band; The white caps, at least a foot high, Even the gulls look to the land. The rain is falling in buckets, Sideways by the gusts it is blown; Thunder rolling over the hills, The wrath of God is being shown. Then suddenly it's all over, Storm clouds are moving far away; Howling winds die and all is calm, Soon the sun will brighten the day. Now we'll see a wonderful sight, One He promised so long ago; That the Word of God is truthful, Told by the sight of His rainbow. © Copyright 2009 Paul D. Berube
