Angel ALERT !!!

A spinoff of ANGEL IN MY POCKET.

Has anyone seen my angel?
She must be around here someplace;
I had her in my right pocket,
Now I can't seem to find a trace.

Not a hint of where she might be,
Do you know where she may have gone?
Tell me; was it something I said,
Or maybe something I have done wrong?

Friends, if you should see my angel,
Tell her I'm looking high and low;
Without her on this trail with me,
I just don't know which way to go.

Angels are a sensitive bunch,
Living inside one's heart and soul;
When they're suddenly ripped away,
Days are dark and the nights are cold.

Without my angel, all might be lost,
My future will be dark as the night,
Lord, send my angel back to me,
She makes my darkest moments bright.
