When I have a paper to write or a presentation to make for one of my college courses, I generally write in poetic style first to get a better feel for what I need to focus on. After all, I am a poet; I think ! Anyway, here is an example of what I mean. Have a great day and God bless.
There are many dangers in rumors, Be careful of whose words you heed;
You never know if they‘re the truth, Or the horrors to which they’ll lead.
They may seem like harmless stories,
But they’re meant to hurt and abuse;
Don’t get carried away with them,
They’re made up so some one will lose.
I’ve had some time to contemplate, About the reason that they start; And of the ones who make them up,
Typically, they have no heart.
The psychology of rumor, Lacks common sense, most of the time;
Just a vicious, mean thing to do,
By someone who, may have a sick mind.
Not just about a good old time,
Of those who start them, we should fear;
Listen closely to what they say,
Be leery of the things you hear.
We were born to make a difference,
To those who we meet along our way;
Whether it be one or a thousand,
Be careful choosing the words we say.
... and you have chosen wisely and with much care and consideration here, Paul. May we speak only that which we might also gladly hear. I love your good habits... with the writing, too, I mean! :)) xx
My experience with rumor-makers is they do so to make others look bad...and that makes them look (and feel) better. This includes many work-places as well in politics! How easy it is to "peg" the rumor-mongors...they can't shut up!
