The world is a great masterpiece,
And God is the artist you know;
He paints with great beauty and care,
The love from His heart is aglow.
He mastered the glorious mountains,
He colored the deep blue of the sea;
Painted pure white the new fallen snow,
Magnificently planted every tree.
Brooks and streams He made to glisten,
Bright white clouds He placed in the air;
The many colors of flowers,
Not a single stroke did He spare.
He gave us the sun to warm us,
To give us light every day;
The moon brightens the darkest night,
Placed the stars to show us the way.
The great and small He created,
But the very best that I've found;
He placed in the little children,
The love that they spread all around.
If you have never seen an Angel,
Look at the innocense of a child;
They give you all their love so freely,
They always offer you a sweet smile.

With every stroke He had a plan;
That we believe, have faith, hope and love,
And compassion for our fellow man.
