The Winning Ticket

Nothing new had come for so long,
I thought that I might have lost it;
This morning, God showed me I didn't.
Thank You Lord; You're too good to me.

 

 

I’ve nothing of any value,
Nothing for anyone to steal;
Yet, I am rich beyond belief,
Filled with true hope that makes life real.

I hit the one true lottery,
I hold the ticket filled with love;
Family and friends surround me,
The greatest prize sent from above.

Material things mean nothing,
Silver, gold and cash you can’t keep;
But love I can take anywhere,
The love of God brings me restful sleep.

Spend your money ‘til nothing’s left,
The greed of others takes it away;
And yet, the more love that I give,
Comes back to me tenfold each day.
