Along the trails that we travel,
Life sometimes can get very hard;
Yet, they lead to eternal life,
The gift offered to us by God.

At times the trails will get rocky,
As we continue on this quest;
These are the times we need be strong,
When our faith is put to the test.

Put to the test, our faith will be,
As we travel along our trail;
If we put true faith in the Lord,
He will not let one of us fail.

With God we will find happiness,
Even when our friends let us down;
In the Lord we will find true peace,
Never having to wear a frown.

Knowing through faith, God always hears,
When we keep Him deep in our heart;
In His time, He answers all prayers,
Just as He has right from the start.

Not all trails will be straight and smooth,
Still, they're lit by Heavenly light;
From the Lord walking by our side,
He keeps us safe both day and night.

But, the choice is still up to us,
Of whether we'll choose to obey;
It's reflected in all we do,
And in all of the things we say.

A friendly smile, a thoughtful word,
A soft, caressing, tender touch;
Encouragement in times of need,
Walking our trails, these mean so much.
