STARLIGHT and QUESTIONS

Questions are answered when we least expect them.

Woke up this morning to bright stars,
Dotting the early morning sky;
I thanked God in Heaven for them,
Then proceeded to ask Him why.

Why He has so blessed me this way,
Just why does He keep on giving?
I'm not deserving of His love,
A sinless life I'm not living.

"Good morning my Lord, I love You,
And thank You for loving me too;
You're so kind in every way,
In every thing that You do.

"You have blessed me in endless ways,
You have surrounded me with love;
I just can't wait to see Your face,
When I get to Heaven above.

"But I am not deserving Lord,"
Knowing that, I break down and cry;
Then, I hear His words from above,
"My child, just continue to try."

Slowly, I walk into the house,
Check on my little boy asleep;
Understanding the love of God,
Brings tears once again, and I weep.

"Thank You, my Lord. I understand; I think."

ISAIAH TELLS US THAT, '...ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS BEFORE 'HIM'...', ROMANS TELL US THAT, '...ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT...'AND PHILLIPIANS TELLS US, '...NOT AS THOUGH I HAD ALREADY ATTAINED....I COUNT NOT MYSELF TO HAVE APPREHENDED...' BUT 'I PRESS FORWARD...FOR THE PRIZE' WE WILL NOT BE 'PERFECT' WHILE WE ARE STILL WEARING THIS 'MORTALITY'...WE WILL SIN. BUT THROUGH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST' WE REPENT, WE ARE FORGIVEN AND WE 'PRESS ON' AND CONTINUE TO TRY TO REACH PERFECTION...AND THIS IS WHERE OUR BLESSINGS COME IN....GOD SEES OUR EFFORTS AND REWARDS OUR EFFORTS FOR DOING THE ONLY THING WE CAN DO; 'TRYING'. I LOVED THIS WRITE, PAUL. IT SPEAKS OF THE VULNERABILITY OF CHRISTIANS (FOR WE ALL ARE) AND THE WONDERFUL MERCY AND GRACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD. I AM REJOICING THIS MORNING FOR THIS WORK THAT HAS SPOKEN TO MY VERY SOUL AND REFRESHED ME. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS AND THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
