I'd like to thank you all for your comments on MASS INVASION U.S.A. I guess I need to elaborate on the "PROTECTIONISM" plan. And as for the foreign companies that have plants here, mostly all of them have the parts shipped in from their own countries keeping their citizens working. The cars ARE NOT made here; they're assembled here. There is a huge difference and that my friends, is not fair trade. We need action and we need it NOW!
All that I'm asking is fairness,
Just ONE HUNDRED PERCENT fair trade;
The way the "ACT" is working now,
It's a farce, simply a CHARADE.
Try "one hand washes the other,"
Or "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours;"
They must drop their import quotas,
Or their goods shouldn't cross our shores.
It's not that I am against imports,
The forced imbalance is what's unfair;
And for the ones with plants right here,
Most all parts are imported from there.
We must put our people back to work,
To make America strong again;
And we MUST DO whatever it takes,
If we don't want our freedom to end.
Look back at "The Great Depression,"
We're standing right on that threshold;
Something must be done right away,
Or LIBERTY will surely fold.
Indeed, Paul: when many of the jobs here are outsourced, because many Americans won't work for less than $10.00 or more an hour, we have a problem here, at home, in our backyard. Well penned.
