I opened my heart and found peace,
In loving Christ I found new hope;
A whole new reason for living,
In loving Him I learned to cope.

The trail I was on was rocky,
And I felt I had lost my way;
Then He found the key to my heart,
Loving Him brought a brighter day.

Time will never again stand still,
He gave me reason for living;
With His compassionate, caring way,
Sweet love He never stops giving.

In loving Him I found happiness,
That will last the rest of my life;
His love that He so freely gives,
Has taken away all my strife.

I know in loving Him I have,
A gift that means so very much;
He reminds me every day,
Through His love and the Spirit's touch.
