December 21, 2012, is not our worst fear. As a matter of fact, 2012 is not to be feared at all, for it is not predicted in the Bible. What is happening throughout our world today however, is predicted in the Bible.
I, myself, am not fearful of the end time; I am fearful of what will happen before it comes; especially for those who do not believe or have too weak a faith in our Lord. May God have mercy on us all.
The year is just about over,
Two thousand nine is at its end;
Many changes were expected,
None came; we're left to wonder, "When?"
Simply lies and false promises,
But then, that's how the devil works;
Preying on our hopes and our dreams,
With the new year, more danger lurks.
Vacations are usually,
Given to one after a year;
And yet, his vacations abound,
I sense that we have need to fear.
The warnings, yes, there were many,
And the beast did speak with forked tongue;
He fooled the great majority,
The ones tricked the worst, were the young.
Because of broken promises,
Of those who served before the beast;
A sad part of our history,
Barack will be worse, to say the least.
Don't worry about two thousand twelve,
The real fear is this situation;
Our demise is in Washington,
Have fear of this Obamanation! (abomination)
You have a good spiritual eye and a good pen to voice your words. As John the Baptist shouted "Prepare ye the way of the Lord," so we should all be shouting 'Prepare for the second coming of the Lord."
Powerful reminder for us all, but end time or not, I think the "end" comes anytime - and we need not be afraid of it, only prepared for it.
I've had friends who died this 2009, some as young as 23 and 30, from unexpected accidents and disasters, but they had the Lord Jesus Christ and I am sure they were more than prepared where they are now, and happy too.
I do not live in your country so I cannot really comment about Mr. Obama. As far as I can "see," he does not seem much different from those who came before him or those "in charge" in this country. Thank you for sharing your views, Paul. Love and peace to you,

Well done Paul. My thoughts exactly. However, if you think about who is in the top three spots in our country it gets very scary. The three that are the top three spots now don't represent the majority. In fact, we now have a Reverse Goverment which is kind of like running a train backwards. I pray Obama and Joe B. stay healthy because I would not want to have a Police-she running the show. It's bad now but it could be worse. Amen and Happy New Year my friend.
We have come to expect politicians to lie but Barack has out did them all and is bringing down our Nation with them. If he continues to give aid and comfort to the enemy, impeachment should be the order of the day but with the democrats controlling both the House and The Senate who would impeach him? When in American History has the House and Senate defied the will of the people who elected them by passing obamacare?
