We could all use a little restoration every now and then. Take the time to do it and may God bless.
Our trail may be filled with blessings,
But sometimes we just cannot see;
All of the goodness around us,
Until we let our souls fly free.
When life comes at us a bit too fast,
And we feel like we need a break;

There's only so much one can take.

Many of today's ills of all kinds would be resolved if we were to abide by the wisdom you speak of, Paul. Time is a gift and how we choose to spend it is largely under our control... we just seem never able to locate the "off"-switch - to our peril! Rest and restoration is not an indulgent luxury but a bare necessity, though we think we are invincible. Yes, so much of what preoccupies us can be a total waste of time and is only "necessary" in the moment we choose to give to it; very little is essential. Although I know the "theory", I'm still wondering just how long it is going to take for me to apply it in practice! Thank you for this timely reminder and may your moments, hours and days be enriched, blessed and multiplied through your own absorption of this truth. xx

We all have out ways to find that peace which comes with completely understanding ourselves / This is one of those which has been tried and found to work every time it had been attempted.
