Looked into a new church today,
That seemed to have been built with love;
One could feel the faith and the trust,
In God's promises from above.

In this humble, simple, white church,
We felt a glow that encompassed all;
The essence of Christ's love was there,
As we answered His loving call.

"Come in children and take a seat,
'The Bible will keep you from sin;
Sin will keep you from the Bible,'
But with my shield you'll surely win.

"Please, you're welcome inside my church,
Open your heart, relax awhile;
Then you can make up your own mind,
Either way, you'll still be my child."

This simple, white church in a glade,
Felt peaceful and full of God's grace;
Built to be filled only with love,
In His love we'll make it our place.

Yes, He invites us to be saved,
Yet, allows us to make that choice;
Now, we must decide for ourselves,
To accept the sound of His voice.
