FAITH ALONG LIFE'S TRAILS,

The sun is beginning to shine,
Chasing the dark of night away;
Taking with it all of my tears,
Offering me a bright new day.
The birds in the trees are singing,
Reminding me life's all aglow;
The brook out front gurgles with glee,
Bright flowers are starting to grow.
Reminders that I have been blessed,
By my gracious Lord up above;
He knows just how to cheer me up,
God fills my heart with His pure love.
Should have known I could count on Him,
To chase away the evil one;
Faith that the Lord has granted me,
Proves that all battles can be won.
Thank You, Lord, for Your caring ways,
For always walking beside me;
Thank You for every blessing,
And Your gift of eternity.
