Simple Hope

Where would we be without hope?

When I awoke this new morning,
I dropped to my kness on the floor;
I thanked the Lord for this new day,
That He has blessed me with one more.

I gave Jesus all of my praise,
For He's the One that I adore;
And He loves me no matter what,
Who could ask for anything more?

When I was lost and all alone,
Jesus was there to comfort me;
He helped me lose the fear of death,
By showing me eternity.

He invites us all to Glory,
Jesus is our every breath;
He was the One who died for us,
Brought us new life through His own death.

My friends, if you're alone and lost,
Have need of a new direction;
Turn to Jesus, our loving Lord,
He grants eternal salvation.

Glory to God in the highest,
The Holy One who died for me;
Jesus Christ is our only hope,
He is the One I long to see.
