Some say that America's fixing to fall.
If we the people don't take a stand here and now, they may just be right.
Still, I refuse to believe that.
REAL AMERICANS - BUY AMERICAN
We hold the future in our hands, folks.
Things are bad in America,
There's trouble in our own back yard;
People are living in the streets,
Times aren't just tough, they're really hard.
Yes, I believe in helping all,
But charity begins at home;
Join me, my friends, in this crusade,
I simply can't do it alone.
The next time you go out shopping,
Look at what's hanging on the rack;
If it don't say, "Made in U.S.A."
Then folks, won't you please put it back.
It has to start right here and right now,
Let it begin with you and me;
America's counting on us,
Remember, this is your country.
I've been thinking this whole thing through,
But there's something I just don't know;
How can things be better for us,
By sending our cash to Tokyo?
The sneak attack many years ago, From the land of the rising sun;
They learned their lesson well from that war,
Now they call us lazy and dumb.
It seems that their words could come true ,
If we refuse to take a stand;
And only buy, "made in U.S.A,"
Let's prove that America can.
We can't leave it up to Washington,
Because they do nothing but talk;
It's up to us to take action,
"We the people" must walk the walk!
Yes, we can, we can do it now!
We hold the power, we know the way;
We hold the future in our hands,
This is the dawning of a new day.
Let me serve notice here and now,
America's still number one;
Pledge right now to buy U.S.A.
Together we'll get the job done.
We've the power and know the way,
The cause of the Red, White and Blue;
Yes, my fellow Americans,
I have faith and believe in you.

are Americans! CAN-DO People!! Need to stop expecting things to be
easy, don't we. Always-with-the-problems-already. Always will be!!
But we can get the pendulum to swing in the right direction for awhile. Hopefully, more often.

Its getting harder and harder to buy American Made.. SO much is made in China and elsewhere. I sometimes wonder how this all happened. We'd be in a much better place , if our own were making everything!.... GOOD WRITE..M

I believe in America, too, Paul, but soooo few things are actually MADE in America nowadays ... IF you find something, it's so much more expensive than the cheap imports ... what gripes me the worse? Finding American flags or patriotic shirts made in Mexico or China or somewhere else. GRRRRR! I hear ya, my friend. Well done.
I would like so much to believe in your words but how do you buy "Made in America" when all the raw products are sent around the world and all we do here anymore is assemble the finished products that come back? Personally, I have been reading all kinds of lables lately and question the coloring and food additives and where the grains are bought from.
Paul this was an outstanding writing. I find 50% merchandise made in China. It maybe cheaper but it is all junk. This merchant "Walmart" should be called China Walmart. I agree with YOU buy USA!!!
