My whole body's falling apart,
Everything except my soul;
My hair is falling out in droves,
Even got bunions on my toes.

Skin is wrinkled beyond belief,
From old age there is no relief;
A knee and hip have been replaced,
The years passed at a rapid pace.

Everyone hears me coming,
As every joint has a creak;
Muscles ain't what they used to be,
Even memory's getting weak.

Yet, my soul's as young as ever,
The future is incredibly clear;
Heaven will be my final home,
So, I have no reason to fear.

God says, "I'll take your pains away,
A brand new body I'll make for you;
As agile as a child again,
You'll feel great in all you do."

Up until then I'll walk these trails,
Being the best that I can be;
The truth was shown me years ago,
Of God's plans for Eternity !
