The positive reviews I received regarding EYES OPEN WIDE were very encouraging and I sincerely thank you all for your comments and especially your patriotism. Just as amazing though, were the comments that weren't left by so many who have always faithfully left a review on my writing; positive or otherwise.
"Eyes Open Wide" must have hit home,
With many who write in the Den;
So many that faithfully do,
Failed to leave a single comment.
But wrongs can always be righted,
So, do it today, go trade it in;
Not for another foreign car,
Make America proud again.
Make a statement, do it right now,
Shout, "I will not take any more;
I'm proud to be an American,
Keep foreign goods off of our shores."
Prove it to all by what we wear,
Shout it aloud by what we drive;
Only we can prevent more debt,
Boldly show our American pride.
Another on-target poem, Paul! I almost cried when I thought about replacing my American Flag to fly, and could not find one NOT Made in China! I'm still flying my older one Made in USA.

Some will say well I am a patriot but what is wrong with saving a few bucks. They do not realize thet are only hurting themselves in the long run because they may lose there jobs too. Besides it is all junk and probably will stop working shortly.
