I took a mountain trail to find,
The colors of fall had arrived;
Wildlife frolicked everywhere,
The forest was so much alive.

God had painted this mountain's trees,
To look like a huge tapestry;
He's given blessings far and wide,
Walk on His trails and you'll soon see.

The deer, wild turkey, bear and moose,
The birds soaring high in the air;
Once again, His wonders astound,
As for winter they all prepare.

The night air is growing colder,
Yet comfortable are the days;
Fall's the perfect combination,
Tells the story of life all ways.

From the birth of a newborn cub,
The passing of a simple leave;
It's all of these and so much more,
Countless reasons why I believe!
