New Hampshire's motto is quite neat,
The neatest one I've ever heard;
Well known throughout the USA,
Four simple yet meaningful words.

Its meaning is about liberty,
But I'll let you in on a secret;
It doesn't apply here no more,
For our leaders simply don't do it.

A great country this used to be,
By God all our morals were set;
But the folks down in Washington,
Either they lie or they forget.

That we're the ones who put them there,
It is our will that they must do;
This is not a request Barrack,
It's a COMMAND we're giving you.

My friends all around this great land,
Now's the time for us to unite;
To get the freedoms back we've lost,
We need get together and fight.

One simple thing that is missing,
In those who run our government;
Common sense is what they have lost,
We need to know where it was spent.

Most everyone in Washington,
Right up to the President too;
Should hang their heads in total shame,
The will of the people they don't do.

You may say that I'm old fashioned,
But I believe in right from wrong;
The trails our leaders have us on,
They will not keep our country strong.

We need to get back to basics,
I'm just worried that it's too late;
History does repeat itself,
And much like Rome I fear our fate.

So my dear friends I've made my plea,
But one man can't do it alone;
Let's unite before it's too late,
Please join me in saving our home.

"Give me liberty or give me death,"
There's power in the written word;
What shall we do; "live free or die?"
Our government has gone absurd.

My friends, we all need to wake up,
We have power over our fate;
We can still save this great country,
Or is my plea simply too late?

And now......a little food for thought.

If con is the opposite of pro then I guess that explains our Congress.
Congress is simply the opposite of progress.
