This was inspired by the news from the POETESS that she can longer afford the Den's membership dues. I myself am thinking about leaving the Den for the very same reason. It is so, so very sad. But what's even sadder is that we hold the power to change it; WE THE PEOPLE! Yes, we do! But it's up to each one of us individually to act as a whole and unite as one unstoppable force to be dealt with like never before. JUST SAY NO! NO IMPORTS WILL I BUY! NOT A ONE, ZIP, NADA, ZERO. The fate of us all is in our own hands. The only question is, will we do it? I was born and raised here, a veteran of the Vietnam and Iraqi eras and have always stood for America and I make my pledge right now! NOT ANOTHER IMPORT WILL I BUY; I WILL SUPPORT THE U.S.A. AND ITS PEOPLE 100%. My message to big business is this; MAKE IT HERE IF YOU WANT TO SELL IT HERE! PERIOD!
Thanks to this administration, For all they've done - nothing at all; Our economy just gets worse, With more of us fixing to fall. It's time for us to take a stand, Say, "We won't take this anymore; You are the root of the problem, And you're rotten down to the core. "Protect our own economy, Put our own people back to work; What the hell do we pay you for, Do importers pay you a perk? "Let's practice protectionism, Stop all imports from coming in; Make it, 'made in the U.S.A.,' In the long run, we will all win. "So simple it's simply stupid, It's what once made this country great; If we wait very much longer, Humpty Dumpty will be our fate."
