For those of you who read "INJUSTICE - Another Lesson in Life" (posted here on June 11, 2010), will understand why I am posting this one. LIVE FREE OR DIE? Not in New Hampshire, my friends. It means nothing here anymore as our freedoms are slowly but surely being stripped away. May God bless and watch over you all. I am proud and honored to be able to call you all my friends.
Injustice here in New Hampshire,
The persecution of Ward Bird;
A good man who has hurt no one,
Speak up! Let our voices be heard.
Just protecting his property,
No harm was done, no one was hurt;
Yet, they still imprison this man,
His name wrongly dragged through the dirt.
And I know just how he must feel,
For the same thing happened to me;
Persecuted five years ago,
Only thing is, I copped a plea.
And now it's happening again,
It's like a bad dream, deja vu;
Speak out! Tell them to free Ward Bird,
Before the same thing happens to you.
LIVE FREE OR DIE in New Hampshire,
What a joke that's turned out to be;
Persecution a rampant thing,
Demand that Ward Bird be set free.
Justice is no longer a part of our constitution. I believe, that many who can make change are steered by fear, money and who knows what else. It is encumbent upon each one of us to do and stand up for what is right ... all the while praying for enlightment for the leaders of this country.
It is true Paul. There is no REAL freedom in NH or the USA.
Its been my experience that we can't even have a say
Without some sort of cruel revenge heading our way.
The NH DOT took the first home I'd owned in NH, through their rights of "eminent Domain" and it was then that I realized how crooked, dishonest and cruel our government can be.
As for the judicial system. It is also my experience that, far too often, it protects the criminals instead of the innocent and persecutes the innocent instead of the criminals.
Its a crazy, backwards world we're living in.
Where the greedy, power-hungry thieves
Are the ones who wrongly judge and usually win.

Hope all is well with everyone today. Thanks for all your reviews, my friends; they're always appreciated. After reading the reviews for this one I had to leave one myself. As for this one, justice will prevail. Some readers may have pulled up PART of the story but obviously not the WHOLE story. This is a simple matter of "he said, she said." And that being the case, the justice system never should have taken it as far as they did. As there were no witnesses to what actually happened then there was obviously a lack of evidence to substantiate any complaint being taken seriously. THAT is where the injustice here started. Knowing the entire story and the backgrounds of the parties involved can only lead one to the conclusion that an injustice took place. Factual and simple. But NO! Someone, somewhere pulled a power play and made a mountain out of a mole hill. The whole sad affair is absolutely stupid and now another good man and his family are suffering under and because of a broken system. God help America.
I PULLED THIS STORY UP BECAUSE I WANTED TO FAMILIARIZE MYSELF WITH THE DETAILS...AND AS IS THE CASE NOW AND IN SOME OF YOUR PREVIOUS POSTINGS, WE DISAGREE. I THINK MR. BIRD OVERREACTED. I DON'T THINK WE HAVE THE PERMIT FOR GUNS TO THREATEN UNARMED TRESSPASSERS. ALONG WITH THAT 'GUN PERMIT' COMES A DEMAND FOR THE 'RESPONSIBILITY' OF ACTING WITH A 'CLEAR HEAD' AND INTENT...NOT OUT OF ANGER. I THINK ONE HAS A GUN TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES AND IF A PERSON IS THREATENING YOU WITH PHYSICAL HARM AND HAS A WEAPON OR IS ACTING IN A COMBATIVE MANNER AND THEY ARE IN FEAR OF YOUR LIFE...THEN THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO PRODUCE A WEAPON AND PROTECT THEMSELVES AND THEIR PROPERTY. I DON'T THINK ONE SHOULD JUST GET SO 'ANGRY' THAT THEY THREATEN TO TAKE ANOTHER'S LIFE BECAUSE THAT INDIVIDUAL IS 'AGGRAVTING' THEM. GOD FORBID THAT THE GUN SHOULD HAVE GONE OFF. WAS SHE WRONG?...YES, INDEED SHE WAS BUT, DID SHE DESERVE TO BE THREATENED TO HAVE HER LIFE TAKEN WITH A GUN?...NO. HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED LAW ENFORCEMENT(NOT BECOME THE LAW HIMSELF) AND HAD HER PHYSICALLY REMOVED FROM HIS PROPERTY. HAD HE DONE THIS, SHE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GONE TO JAIL, WHICH SHE DESERVED...INSTEAD OF HIM. BUT...AS USUAL, I ALWAYS RECOGNIZE YOUR RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND YOUR ELOQUENT DISPLAY OF POETIC ARTISTRY WHEN VOICING YOUR VERY STRONG OPINIONS REGARDING A CURRENT EVENT OR A POLITICAL ISSUE.
